Another wonderful weekend draws to a close.  Spent the day with Wee Wench yesterday and then went to the movies last with she and her husband. We saw "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back".  It was...ummmm...well...you could say...but then again...

Today Mike and stayed home and watched movies. We saw "The Patriot" and "Quills". We felt as if we wee watching an updated version of "Braveheart" with "The Patriot" . The only good thing is Mel didn't die! "Quills" was an interesting movie based on the Marquis de Sade. Geoffery Rush was incredible and I totally enjoyed Kate Winslet and Joaquin Phoenix. We bought "What Women Want" yesterday  (Blockbuster was having a sale! ) I loved this movie, it was hysterical (I thought anyway!).

Back to some cleaning and preparation for another Monday! I hope everyone had a good weekend.

Merry Meet and a lovely Saturday to one and all!

Time to begin fall cleaning!  (Oh yea!) I wnat to have everything shiny and clean, remove the negative energies that have collected (do a ritual cleansing) and home blessing by Samhain. I have decided to do my dedication on Samhain( or possibly the first new moon after Samhain.)  The new year seems a good time for this! I have been studying for two years now and I am ready to take the next step. It's time to make the committment. I am very excited and alittle nervous, but I believe if I'm to progress any farther, I need to make the committment!

And it is a beautiful Thursday morning (promises to be muggy and hot...I am SO sick of HOT and MUGGY!) Yes, I know I am whining, this is just about the only thing I really whine about!  I do okay from Mid-April through July, but August and September are horrid! Sorry! Aside from the weather, it should be a good day!

Cap'n, I changed the background, is this any better? I can't tell from my end, 'cause it looks as it should. I AM getting a new system and THIS all WILL WORK. I STILL can't upload any pictures...it's driving me batty! (That was not a whine...that was a RANT!!)

ARRRGH, this is so sucky! This is the third time this morning I have tried to get on line, the first two times this machine froze on me in less than 3 minutes! This month, we WILL be getting a new system! It's kinda sad really, I was going through withdrawls........

Today promises to be another HOT one (and muggy). ***Sigh***  Monsoon season, don't you know!  

I was at Wal-mart yesterday and they had Autumn stuff out, if only the weather would match my mood! Autmn is my fsvorite time of year! I only wish I lived somewhere that had turning leaves and Autumn type weather. Growing up in Southern California and then living here, there is no changing seasons. Oh well, Such is life!

A lovely Weekend this has been and I'm sorry to see it drawing to a close. Spent yesterday with Wee Wench, getting our nails done and just hanging out. I haven't had someone to just "be" with in so many years. I really enjoyed myself!

Today, Michael suggested a picnic at Sunset Park, we had a very relaxing day, until the wind kicked up about 4:00~hopefully we are going to have a storm...As hot as it is(100-110 degrees) with 40-60percent humidity, it is just nasty...but oh, it smelled so good...the rain is not far off!

So, I'm not going to stay on long, as we may have lightning. I hope everyone's weekend was as lovely as mine. Here's to a good week!

Happy Friday!! What a week it has been! I'm glad it's almost over. Now if I can just the pictures online, I'll be happy. Any suggestions? When I follow the directions, all I get is a small red "x" and I'm so frustrated...Frack!

I get to work some more today on our holiday party...I am getting in the spirit of things, and have begun thinking of gifts for family.

Just hear those sleigh bells ringing...

Just once I would love to have a white Christmas. I grew up in S. California and then moved here (What WAS I thinking?). I have been in snow maybe 3 times and when it snows here(I've been here 14 years...3 times it has snowed) it doesn't last long!  It NEVER snows during the holidays! Oh well...**Sigh**
