Okay! Another day done...pizza for one is in the oven...two more loads of laundry to do...bills to pay(Ugh!). Tomorrow at 5:15 p.m. Saturday begins! Then we start "THE PROJECT". (Cleaning out the "BLACK HOLE"!) We have a two bedroom apartment , and the second room is the room where things go in and they never come out..da da dun! I can't stand it any more, so this is the weekend...In a way I'm kinda excited...who knows what treasures (or junk) we will find.
I am a self confirmed pack rack (I come from a long line of packrats!)
My mama used to to shake her head in despair, because I used to (and still do!) keep everylittle thing. (I was Oscar to her Felix...if you catch my drift!) When she died, my sister and I went to my folks house to go through her things, lo and behold, I found my mama's stash! Now I can laugh about it, but then I was still in the anger part of my mourning and I was furious. I'M A PACK RAT! I come by it honestly!
Anyway, I am at a point in my life where I am ready to weed out all my stuff. Since I have started my journey on this new path, I find I am ready to discard things of my old life and make room for the stuff in my new life. (I will save some things, but I WILL BE RUTHLESS ( she says over and over as she tries to convince herself!!
)
So to everyone a happy Thursday Night and Huzzah for Fridays.
Bright Blessings,
Amethyst

Well, what else to say other than good luck!
I used to be a packrat. Oh, dear, I was horrible. I would keep a candy wrapper because it was from a friend.
I'm better now though.. I throw out a lot. (I drove my mom insane with it. She hates any clutter...)
This is my first time visiting your site, and I have to say that the picture you have up is beautiful...
I too come from a long line of packrats. Be ruthless! You'll still end up with a ton of stuff.
