  • Huzzzah for thursday! 3 day weekend ahead, a short week and then...da dah daahhhh....Vacation! I've never felt the need for one as badly as I do now. I feel as if I'm on the verge of cracking!  It has to get better!

Cats do care...For example, they instinctively know what time we have to be at work in the morning and they wake us up twenty minutes before the alarm goes off.  Michael Nelson

Note from Amethyst...personally I think they wake us early because they want to play and eat!

  • To those who saw THE movie this weekend past ...you know who you are...I'm thrilled you enjoyed it! I will be seeing it again, we are trying to figure out which of the girls in the van is Kevin Smith's wife. And , did you know that baby "Bob" is his daughter (We know it is his baby, we believe it is a girl!) Huzzah for Silent BOB!

    Happy Tueday.

  • Here it is almost midnight and I am wide awake. Considering that the emotion and panic are finally hitting  today, not to mention feeling as if I was run over by a Mack Truck, I should be exhausted. Granted I am tired, but not sleepy. This does not bode well.

Crossroads...This is where I am and I have no clue which road to take.   Much thinking to do...much pondering...couldn't I do that after a decent night's sleep?

    Is anybody out there?

    I feel very alone

  • It has been a rocky couple of days, and I have been hard put to keep my "attitude"  in good shape! I love my husband very much, but I have finally come to a point in my life where I had to take a stand, you see, the long and the short of it is...he is an alcoholic and it has put a terrible strain on our marriage.

Tuesday morning was the " last straw", so to speak, and we had a Long talk. We, of course, have had talks such as this before, but I have never issued the ultimatum before, because I wasn't in ready to carry through on it before. I don't believe in making a threat I won't carry through. But I have reached my limit and we were up all night(I was in bed finally about 6:30 am, having only just gotten to bed about 11:30 pm and our discussion occurred very shortly thereafter.) Needless to say, I didn't go to work yesterday and I'm still feeling the aftershocks of our discussion.

  • Okay, my darlin' Cap'n, This entry is for you (and anyone else who is looking forward to the new Jay and Silent Bob movie.)

I have seen "Clerks"...couldn't make it through the whole thing, amy try again, "Dogma"....didn't like it at first, but it redeemed itself at the end, and "Mall Rats"...cute movie! Haven't had a chance to see "Chasing Amy" yet, but will see it probably this weekend.

I was not looking forward to "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back", I have to be honest. I went because Mike, Wee Wench and Micha wanted to see it. My sense if humor lies in a different direction, I must admit. It began, to me, poorly enough...I can't stand Jay! But it does show how Jay and Silent Bob met and gives you an understanding of why Jay is the way he is.

I adore Silent Bob! I can't tell you why!  I enjoyed him in "Dogma" and "Mall Rats", and he was fabulous in this new movie. However, as we got further into the movie, I found myself enjoying it and part of that was the reactions of the company I was keeping. They were on the floor laughing!

Almost everyone they had in previous movies had parts in this one, but not as the characters they played in those movies. They had a couple of surprise cameos...keep an eye out for the nun...and the evil guy they end up fighting in the "Filming Sequence" towards the end of the movie. I have to say, when I think of the movie, I get a silly grin on my face...so yeah, I enjoyed it. If you enjoyed the other films, you will more than likely really enjoy this one.

I hope this satisfies you, dear Dread...Think of me when you are seeing it, and know I am laughing with you.

    Love and Blessings,

  • Cap'n sir...YOU...an attitude? Nah...

I had a Wonderful day! I can't believe I am already home! Huzzah! I have that feeling again, like something is going to happen. I'm all quivery and excited and I don't know why! I feel as if I am going to burst!  Maybe I am ready for a change in my life...Who Knows?

Oh, Jay and Silent Bob were....um...it was...well...Lovely weather we're having, isn't it!
