  •  Huzzah! The launch went off with out a hitch; Terry should be home in time for me to see him this weekend! I had to laugh though, after the launch, I read the recap and the mission is initially only 68 minutes long…I was incredulous, thinking of the two unsettled years of their lives as he was working on this project and it was all for 68 minutes…I read a little further and the actual deployment is in 16 hours…still…I know they are thrilled it is over!!!

Happy , Happy Wednesday! 56 Hours and counting til I take off for California!!

     Love and Bright Blessings,

Among all men on the earth bards have a share of honor and reverence, because the muse has taught them songs and loves the race of bards.

  • 180 hours until I land in California!! Huzzah!!! Please let this week go by quickly…Not that I’m wishing my life away…but I want to go now!

One of the friends I’m hoping to see is in Florida, right now, awaiting the launch of the Space shuttle on Wednesday. If it can launch, he will be home in time for me to see him this weekend…if not, I’ll have to wait until my birthday party next month, and we will just have a girls weekend. It is so cool that he works on something for the shuttle. I have no idea exactly what it is he does for the shuttle (it’s a secret, not even his wife knows), but it is really awesome that he does whatever he does.

I also get to see Shadow(yea!) and my sister and niece!  So bear with me as I anxiously await this weekend!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • I am so grateful for my friends and the love that we share. I have several of my faire family coming from California to share in my birthday celebration next month and I think they are more excited than I am (If that is at all possible!)

All my Friends…and you, my Xangan friends, are so very much friends of my heart… have been my anchor throughout this last year. You lent me strength until I  found my own, you listen to me as I try to make sense of the last year, you cry with me when I hurt and cheer me on as I take each new step in my new life. You bully me when you think I need it and cradle me when you know I do need it. You cushion me when I fall while allowing me to learn from the fall. Your love encircles me and I am safe within that circle. You help me to realize I can do ANYTHING!

“Thank you” seems so inadequate for all the gifts that you have given me...but it is all I can offer at this time. Please know that it comes from the deepest recesses of my heart.

     Brightest of Blessings,
    Amethyst
