• Well, here I am...less than two weeks away from moving and as of right now...well, lets just say the really nice apartment lost me! They piddled around and Wednesday when I called to see if I had the apartment they told I need another form! AARRGGHH! They couldn't have told me Sunday when I turned in the application????? They knew my situation! SO...I get the form filled out, Denise(present land lady) was wonderful, faxed it in Thursday morning, I called the other place and told them it was coming. They said they would "re-consider" my application after receiving the form. I don't hear from them all morning or early afternoon...how long does it take to say yea or nay? I call at a quarter to three, and gee, thay say they haven't recieved it yet. They could have called me!!! I call Denise, she said she faxed it right after I got off the phone with her.  I call 15 minutes later...I'm sorry we don't see it...

  
  

  I see red and decide to call my second choice. Caroline (At the 2nd place) has been so sweet, she called me a couple of times to see how I was doing and to see if there was anything she could do to make my decision easier...she courted me! Anyway, I called her and she had just left a voice mail at home telling me about a new special. She was so excited to hear from me and the special was one I could not turn down!! $199 move in and they dropped the price of the two bedroom from $630 to $595. Hello!!! So I took her my app. on Friday(and gee, she recieved the form from Denise as soon as I asked Denise to send it! Hmmmm...) and it is pretty much a done deal...just have to do the red tape...credit check and all that...she said I pretty much have the apartment regardless and my neighbor is a lovely Brazilian woman named Maria that I would just love! I have a truck reserved and I have put an SOS out to all my Rogues and Klingons for moving help, which of course I will repay with food and drink! We will see!

  
  

  So, here I am, waiting for final approval and two days away from the start of my own personal new year which I am looking forward with glee! I got my very own cell phone yesterday (had them run a credit check just for giggles to see how much of a deposit I would have to put down, I have such poor credit {sigh} ) KNOCK ME OVER WITH A FEATHER!!!!!! Damn the man! (To quote my Dear Dread) They approved me! So, I now have a cell phone! Cool.
