Okay, I spoke a little too soon! Today is only supposed to get in the mid 70s. We have been fairly warm still and I hate it!(Nights have been lovely though!)
Our local faire went wonderfully well. (With the exception of my getting ill Saturay night and missing all day Sunday...I was more than a little upset!) We had 7 people sign on with our crew...awesome!
This last weekend was our yearly trip to Lake Havasu Faire and I had a marvelous time! I am learning how to flirt! Don't laugh...not everyone is born with the gift and I have always been a late bloomer!
It was sooo much fun...No, Michael did not mind...Ren Faires are a hot bed of flirting and innuendo. I play with those who I know are safe and that I trust implicitly! Unless you are single, it doesn't mean a thing,(Okay, I guess it could mean something to those who are married and catting around, but not to any of my circle of friends!) but it is fun and now I know what I have been missing all these years. Do I sound horrible?
This weekend is the final Faire of the season in Escondido. Then we have five months to rest, sew, build, and otherwise prepare for March when the first Faire of the Season opens. This will be a bittersweet Faire, for I won't see many of my friends again until March! It amazes me how much like family we have all become!
Happy Samhain! Happy Halloween!
Love and Brightest of Blessings,
Amethyst

You make me want to find a Ren Fair soon.
So much fun. I am not good at flirting, either. I am always to afraid of being seductive. I admire apt flirters, though, they seem to be having so much harmless fun.
