Month: October 2001

  • Okay, I spoke a little too soon! Today is only supposed to get in the mid 70s. We have been fairly warm still and I hate it!(Nights have been lovely though!)

Our local faire went wonderfully well. (With the exception of my getting ill Saturay night and missing all day Sunday...I was more than a little upset!) We had 7 people sign on with our crew...awesome!

This last weekend was our yearly trip to Lake Havasu Faire and I had a marvelous time! I am learning how to flirt! Don't laugh...not everyone is born with the gift and I have always been a late bloomer!  It was sooo much fun...No, Michael did not mind...Ren Faires are a hot bed of flirting and innuendo. I play with those who I know are safe and that I trust implicitly! Unless you are single, it doesn't mean a thing,(Okay, I guess it could mean something to those who are married and catting around, but not to any of my circle of friends!) but it is fun and now I  know what I have been missing all these years. Do I sound horrible?

This weekend is the final Faire of the season in Escondido. Then we have five months to rest, sew, build, and otherwise prepare for March when the first Faire of the Season opens. This will be a bittersweet Faire, for I won't see many of my friends again until March! It amazes me how much like family we have all become!

    Happy Samhain! Happy Halloween!

My computer is giving me fits again, so I have not been on much. How is everyone? I miss you all! Hopefully, I'll be able to be on for longer times, but for now, know you are all in my thoughts and heart!

Congratulations Cat, on your New Grandaughter!  I am so tickled for you! I hope mama and daughter are doing well. Blessings on you all!

Huzzah for Thursday! Only one week until our local Ren Faire! Faire Season begins for us with our faire and will continue until Memorial Day.  I can't wait! (Although by the middle of Corona Faire, I will be wistfully looking forward to our break during the summer!) But for now...Yippee!**Resumes mask of pseudo maturity**

  • Okayyeee....I posted this morning and it's not here...hmmmmm! Temperamental computer...Sheeesh! Frack!, Jeeze, I'm not sure what I posted now!

    On a different note:

Not to jinx anything, but! Michael and I are thinking about fostering to adopt! We are considering all the ramifications and pros and cons, and If we decide to go through with it, we take the classes this coming summer. I told Mike that I would really like siblings, and he thought it was a good idea! I'm not getting my hopes up, they have been crashed far too many times, but there is a little glimmer...

  • Happy October! A Blessed Monday and a good week to all.

    Bright Blessings,
