Life is slowly returning to relative normal, as it is wont to do. The little minute portions, the everday ups and downs, remind me continually of the sanctity of my life and the joy that can be found, even amidst the tragedy and horror. The sun continues to rise and set, the moon continues her monthly dance across the velvet night skies, flowers continue to favor us with their beauty, and I awaken each day, blessed with family, friends, a job, and my life. Life continues it's daily struggle, but yields up lovely surprises to comfort us and encourage us to move forward.

What a lovely log!! I too am enjoying the day... the sun is just coming out of the fog and the birds are hopping around the backyard... it is nice
I agree, I see things in such a different perspective. It makes everything "sharper."
