Last Weekend of Faire...I have mixed emotions! On one hand I can't wait to have my weekends back and not be so tired during the week as I prepare for the weekend.On the other hand, I'm going to miss all the friends I have made(although I will see them in the autumn at the next Faire for Crossroads.) I'll miss the music, the silliness, the parties, and fun. I'll miss the exhilaration of the cannons going off, especially opening (If we have to be up...so does everybody else. <Grin>!) and closing guns. I WON'T miss the humidity and the bugs!
We are hosting a blowout party on Sunday, and I hope it turns out well. Weenie roast, humburger fry and s'mores! Cool!! I love Faire and I love the the people who work Faires. I have formed some dear friendships that I know will last beyond the gates of Koronenberg. That is the best gift of all!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. (I know I will, I don't have to be to work until Wednesday...now if only today will fly by...sigh) Happy Memorial Day!
