Well, We survived the first two weekends of Corona Faire. We have worked our fannies off getting our encampment running smoothly and the Captain estimates about three more weekends of work until it is where he wants it to be for this year.
Wee Wench and I have a working Galley(Huzzah! and thanks to me darlin' Robert, Dead Tom, Mr. Long and others for taking care of the Galley crew! WooHoo!)
Robert and I arrived Friday afternoon(I took a much needed mental health day from work!) It was lovely, just the two of us for a while. The weather played tag with us, as it would try to rain, then stop, then start again. Sometime during the night, I awoke to the lovely sound of rain on our pavilion. What a treat, especially since I was snug inside with me Robert keepin me warm.
We were rained upon off and on almost all day Saturday, most of the women wore their cloaks or shawls all day or at least had them close by(the wind was a wee bit nippy), but Sunday was perfect! Warm(Not hot!), with a breeze.
Oh well, time to get ready for work. Then tonight I begin preparations for this weekend's adventure in Corona. Have a great day.
Bright Blessings,
Amethyst
